Camp Ihduhapi was fun at some times and err... well yeah you get it... http://www.campihduhapi.org/pages/page_75.htm
"Simulations"
These were "games"... they were intense. We did a simulation of the Underground Railroad. We started out by walking into the woods at night with a group of about 25 people. We had about 3 chaperones. There was somebody waiting for us behind a tree. He told us to keep walking until we met Harriet Tubman. We walked for about a mile on the snow path until we arrived. She told us that this was real, who she was, and what we were going to do. We could hear screams and gunshots in the woods, that's what i mean by intense. During the whole thing they would tell stories like they happened just yesterday, people would chase us with lanterns and fire cap guns into the air. It was scary!
"Rope courses"
These were games that you would do about 35 to 50 feet up in the air. You would put a harness on and climb up whatever you were doing. One of the things was the Pamper Pole. It was a pole that you would climb up and jump off. It was about 28 feet. The rock climbing wall was 50 feet high, and you would, obviously, climb and ring the bell at the top. The High Ropes was an obstacle course 45 feet in the air. This was my favorite. That's all: http://www.campihduhapi.org/pages/page_83.htm the first pic on the right is the High Ropes!
Have a good day! :)
